PRESS RELEASE ON 9th Peace Achievers International Awards 2020

The management of the annual Peace Achievers International Awards has stated that the 2020 edition of the annual awards which is scheduled to hold in the coming months will aim to recognise the achievements, efforts and gains made by individual’s, firm’s, public office holder’s and other well-meaning Nigerians who fought bravely and showed remarkable resilience in the fight against the ravaging COVID-19 pandemic.

This was made known to the public through its founder and CEO Ambassador Kingsley Amafibe.
“We want to take out time to appreciate the dogged spirit exhibited by these notable personalities and organizations who moved mountains to ensure Nigeria was a safe haven while the pandemic ravaged the planet” he said.

Furthermore, the awards will also feature a new approach whereby the existing protocol of social distancing will be diligently observed and adhered to during the Awards night. “In Spite of the ease in the lockdown we are well aware that the COVID-19 virus is still with us and thus it is imperative we adhere religiously to laid down guidelines which have been enacted to keep us all safe and healthy” he added. Nomination is now open for the 2020 edition.
